1. Who we are
“The World Idiots Party” (Idiots Hall Of Fame) is a satirical entertainment project. This policy explains what we collect and why. We aim to collect as little as possible.
2. What we collect
- Email address — collected by Stripe at checkout and used to grant access and send your magic sign-in link.
- Display name — only if you provide one (certificate, Wall of Idiots, auction).
- Payment records — tier, amount, and a Stripe reference. We never receive or store card numbers.
- Aggregate analytics — approximate country/region (from network headers, never the raw IP), browser, OS, device type, language, referral source, and dark/light preference. Used only in aggregate on the dashboard.
- Anonymous visit counts — to measure visits vs purchases. No personal identifiers.
3. What we do NOT do
- We do not store your raw IP address.
- We do not sell your data or run third-party ad tracking.
- We do not load analytics until you accept cookies (opt-in).
4. Cookies & analytics
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. Privacy-friendly, cookieless web analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) load only after you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. Choosing “Reject” means no analytics are loaded.
5. Processors we use
- Stripe — payments.
- Vercel — hosting and (opt-in) analytics.
- Neon — database.
- Resend — transactional email (access links, support replies).
- Cloudflare Turnstile — anti-bot check on new support requests.
6. Your rights (GDPR/UK GDPR)
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to processing. To exercise any right, contact support from your registered email. We honour deletion requests for the data we hold.
7. Retention
We keep payment and account records as long as needed for the Service and legal/accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise them. Aggregate analytics are not tied to your identity.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date.
